LONE BEAR DISTRICT
The Lone Bear District serves the counties of Johnson, Henry, Bates and St. Clair, southeast of Kansas City, Missouri and includes the following communities: Adrian, Amoret, Amsterdam, Appleton City, Blairstown, Butler, Calhoun, Centerview, Center, Collins, Deepwater, Holden, Hume, Kingsville, Knob Noster, Leeton, Lowry City, Montrose, Osceola, Rich Hill, Roscoe, Urich, Vista, Warrensburg, Whiteman AFB and Windsor, Missouri. The district is organized to support the volunteer unit Scouters as they provide the programs of the Boy Scouts of America, to the youth of this area.
ROUNDTABLE
Roundtable is our Monthly gathering for district and unit leaders. This is a great way to learn about whats coming up, training opportunities and get ideas to make your local scouting program better.
Roundtable is held the first Tuesday of every month (except July) at 7pm at the Clinton Scout Building located at 808 Augusta Street in Clinton, MO 64735.
PAW PRINTS
Paw prints is the monthly district newsletter maintained by our public relations chair Marilyn Giglio. DAY CAMP
Day camp is a week long camp held the week of June 14-18, 2010. Day camp is designed for cub scouts of all ages, more specifically for the tigers and wolves. DISTRICT LEADERSHIP
The district committee of the Lone Bear District is made up of volunteers from all over the district who come together to help put together all of the events, activities, trainings, and other "behind the scene" items that make scouting in the Lone Bear District fun and exciting.
