The Northern Tier District serves Northern Johnson county area, north of 75th street, including the cities of DeSoto, Shawnee, Overland Park, Merriam, Mission, Roeland Park, Fairway, Mission Hills, and Prairie Village.

Inclement Weather Policy:
By noon of the district event or meeting the District Chairman, District Commissioner, and the District Risk Management Chairman will make the decision of whether the district event or meeting is cancelled. Updates will be posted here.
Roundtable, OA Chapter 13 Meeting, and Merit Badge Counselor Training:
Roundtable (a monthly meeting of all leaders), OA Chapter 13, and Merit Badge Counselor training takes place the first Thursday of each month at the Overland Park LDS Church at 7100 Hadley Road at 7pm.

If you missed Program Fair-Kathryn has your Program Planning CD that's full of Great Information to help you plan your 2010-2011 year. In order to pick up your CD you must complete the Program Planning Passport This form needs to be filled out completely. Training:
Whether you have just joined the ranks of volunteers for the USA’s preeminent youth organization or you’re a seasoned volunteer training is the most important tool that we can offer to our boys! Having trained leaders is paramount in delivering the Scouting program to our boys. To make Scouting a successful venture, we urge you to take advantage of the training offered for your position. Classes are offered at many different times and locations for your convenience. Please feel free to take any course from any district.
